Neil Bold Font

Neil Bold Font was created in 1966 by Wayne Stettler and released as a Typositor font. Neil Bold, an award-winner and immediate celebrity after its publication, came to represent amplified modernism for an entire generation.

During the final stages of science fiction book covers’ golden age, it was a popular choice for jazz album packaging, particularly at Blue Note recordings. The film type one is substantially enhanced by this digital version.

The authentically regenerated main face now includes new small capitals and biform styles (for a set of three fonts), and language support has been expanded to cover all tongues based on Latin. The OpenType version, Neil Bold Pro, is available in a single font that blends the three types into one.
